Hola! I'm Natalia Guzman (Luna), and I'm the photographer behind Luna Photography.

I grew up in Portland, Michigan, and now live in Lansing with my husband, Oscar; our adorable Goldendoodle, Nola; and our five-month-old daughter, Camila Maria.

My love for photography began long before I ever picked up a professional camera. I was always the unofficial photographer at family gatherings, capturing moments that might otherwise have been forgotten. That passion was shared by my Grandpa Rick (Enrique Luna), who was not only my grandfather but also my father figure and friend. We exchanged photos daily, and he was a constant source of inspiration in my life.

The weekend before he unexpectedly passed away, we spent a Sunday morning together having breakfast with our Luna family. I had no idea it would be the last time I would spend with him, especially since he was only months away from walking me down the aisle in October. After breakfast, I went around Portland photographing the infamous Ice Jam, and he told me I should become a photographer. I smiled and replied, "Maybe one day." Those words became part of one of our last conversations, and I carry them with me every time I pick up my camera.

What started as a way to heal through grief soon became something much bigger. Photography gave me a creative outlet, a sense of purpose, and a way to preserve the moments that matter most. It reminded me just how precious our memories truly are.

I named Luna Photography in honor of my Grandpa Ricky and the legacy he left behind. Through my work, I strive to capture genuine connections, meaningful moments, and memories that families can cherish for generations.

To every client who has trusted me to document their story—thank you. It is an incredible privilege to be invited into life's most special moments, and I am so grateful for your support. What I do is about so much more than taking photos; it's about preserving memories that will last a lifetime.

I'm so glad you're here, and I can't wait to tell your story!
